About Esther

Esther Ames is a Certified Clinical Hypnotist, and owner of Ames Consulting LLC. Centered in Tucson, Arizona, she provides services to clients across the U.S. and by phone worldwide. She may produce a custom CD, or conduct a surgery preparation session by phone, provide stress management training in the corporate environment, spice up your creativity retreat, or consult with you at a location convenient to the major airports across the nation.

Esther is certified through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, and affiliated with the National Guild of Hypnotists.

Esther explored this array of technologies first-hand, learned how well these tools could sustain her – help her release the strains – refresh – testing them through twenty years of living the adrenaline-driven corporate life, as a property manager - project manager - contract administrator - university instructor - K-12 teacher – mother - artist. She has lived in many areas of the United States, and in Stuttgart, Germany, entering upon a new chapter of her career with each move.

Sharing what she's learned, Esther defines herself first as an educator, and because she was so impressed with these tools, she models and helps clients explore change and stress management technologies: for peak performance, calm child birth, confidence in parenting, insights into your own learning style, discovery of the benefits of self-hypnosis and neurofeedback, emphasis on respite time and self-care for caregivers, and applying humor through challenging times.

She is keenly interested in: the mind and how it works, organizational behavior and excellence, neurology, quantum medicine, the healing nature of laughter and humor, patterns of behavior and nature, and in the textile arts.

She now offers training and renewal to her clients, because she knows how effective each strategy can be. Her work is as a trainer, hypnotist and coach, so she weaves in the insights and skills of a project manager, Jungian, advocate, health navigator... all the best-of-the-best techniques and tools, strategies, and lessons-learned. Esther says, “I love my clients - who recalibrate, find new resources, experiment - explore - and discover, learn, are creating renewed lives - setting new norms for themselves.”

Framing her career are a B.S. in Human Ecology, M.A. in Organizational Management, and graduate studies in Process-Oriented Psychology, Pastoral Counseling, and Training And Development. The commitment to refocus her career on dispute resolution, education, and strategies for optimal health and excellence began in 1989, and continues with mentors and trainers including Kevin Hogan, Debra Basham, Joel Bowman, Gary Craig, Dorothy Gates, David Roomy, Gil Boyne, Boone Emmons, Janet Bennett, Anna Wise, Louise Neilson, Dr. Robert Sapiens, Chris Sheesley, Tim Simmerman, Sondra Ray, Patrick Singleton, and the Executive Forum.

Training in the following specialties and protocols includes over 450 hours training in clinical, and regression hypnosis, and additional master classes with Gil Boyne.
